I don't make a habit of writing reviews after I come back from vacation. This time we experienced shocks. At about 4:07 on the second night, an unknown guy burst in, turned on the light, and left our room. In the morning I complained to the front desk so they denied that anything like that could happen. We didn't sleep until the next morning. As my wife suffered a shock, she refused to return to the room, they changed our room. We had a room facing the sea and the new room although a higher category was facing the five stream road. There was music playing from 5am to 11pm.
The next shock came again at night. The light in our wardrobe started to come on at irregular intervals for a few seconds at a time. First of all, I checked the closing of the door. They were completely closed and the sensor only switched on when the door was opened 20 cm. I clearly stated a sensor malfunction. In the morning I complained to the reception. They emailed me in the afternoon:
Dear Mr. Pavel,
Hello!
I am very sorry for the inconvenience that occurred last night.
I would like to inform you that our technical team has checked the wardrobe but found no problem. May I ask if you close the door completely as the lights in the wardrobe are sensor controlled.
If you need further assistance, please contact reception.
In the evening the situation repeated . the light continued to turn on and off. I was told by reception that this was fixed. First we blacked out the wardrobe with dressing gowns, when it disturbed further I dismantled the light. In the morning I got scolded for tampering with the electrics. But wonder of wonders: in the evening a switch was fitted in the wardrobe instead of a sensor: https://photos.app.goo.gl/mirq48zG5dHPPv6SA.
Overall poor reception, incompetent receptionists, bad experience with Mr Elna and another receptionist who was pronounced aggressive.
This made our holiday very uncomfortable, disturbed our night peace by entering our room at night and when complaining first blamed me, even though all my complaints were justified. As compensation, after the first night - although they claimed no one could have been in our room, we both saw him and the light was left on - they sent me a bottle of wine, this I gave to the staff. One more comment from reception that I should have reported it immediately that night. My wife had such a shock that she was shaking all over.
